Award of Merit:

Hammond Studio for SafetyCulture, Sydney Headquarters

Hammond Studio is directed by Todd Hammond, who initiated the practice in 2017 after holding senior roles at BVN Architecture and Woods Bagot, having previously worked on widely-recognised and awarded Australian and International projects. We are proud of where we have come from and where we are going, having forged our position within the industry over the past 24 years. Hammond Studio’s purpose is to focus on the relationship between architecture, interiors, products and graphics. Inspired by subtle transitions between these disciplines and combined with a spatial design attitude, we are constantly striving for the exciting essence and opportunity within each project.

About the Project

SafetyCulture, is a nine-level workplace that brings people to the office for inspired connection, idea-sharing and collaborative work. Hammond Studio has transformed each level into its own thriving and vibrant culture, achieved using distinctive colour palettes, environmental graphics that bring their brands and values to life, with unique customer-themed meeting rooms based on their client's industries. The Sydney headquarters has branded hospitality environments within, including an Italian restaurant Lucia's, espresso bar, sports bar, wellness zones and rooftop bar.
